Mary Jacobs is a New Orleans native and self-proclaimed hustler. She and her partner opened their gym Vitality Community Fitness in 2016 and focus heavily on building a space where their clients and employees feel at home and safe. In 2020, Mary opened her newest business Mary’s Rack, a secondhand styling service where she works one-on-one with clients to help them find and build their looks with sustainable fashion. Her queer identity and politics inform all of the work she does. She is currently in the process of releasing her own irreverent arts and culture podcast called Planet Nola.
